沥青是非常消耗锯片刀齿的材料之一，采用硬的胎体和浓度高的金刚石能确保其切割的寿命更长。（当然也必须了解切割机的马力和性能 ）。
在切割沥青的时候，最好选择拥有保护齿的锯片以防刀齿还没有用完就掉落。
